May 17 & 18: The European Clinical Research Infrastructure Annual Meeting will take place in Dublin over two days. Approximately 100 clinical research experts will attend from all over Europe. May 22-23: Emergency Medicine Revision (EMR) Course. Tuesday 22nd & Wednesday 23rd May 2012 Supported by The Irish Committee on Emergency Medicine Training (ICEMT) Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. A two-day intensive revision course involving self-assessment and group discussion of over 150 short-answer clinical emergency medicine questions, aimed at trainees in Emergency Medicine preparing for the Membership Examination of the College of Emergency Medicine (MCEM) and the Fellowship Examination of the College of Emergency Medicine (FCEM). This course will also be of benefit to any doctor involved in the routine delivery of emergency care. Topics to be covered will be based on the College of Emergency Medicine curriculum.

HIQA unsatisified with HSE's initial response to McGivern report

The HSE did not initially accept responsibility for patients requiring treatment abroad, including children who require liver transplantation, in its response to the Maedhbh McGivern report, according to HIQA.
