There is still considerable uncertainty regarding the number of doctors who are going to enroll with training bodies for professional competence, which could cause difficulties in the operation of the schemes, IMN has been informed. The Medical Council and the training bodies have significantly different estimates of the number of doctors who will take part in the schemes, despite the fact that the schemes will go live on May 1.
